German Standard Bellows Globe Valve
The Bellows Globe Valve, also called a steam globe valve, is a key industrial valve used in high-temperature steam systems (e.g., petroleum, chemical, power). It employs a double-layered bellows welded to the stem for zero leakage and optimizes the sealing surface so that medium pressure assists closure, reducing leakage risk. Its plug-type disc has a flat or tapered sealing surface with multi-layer sealing (e.g., graphite packing). Made of carbon steel or stainless steel, it supports flanged, threaded, or welded connections and can be manually, gear-, or pneumatically operated. Installation requires aligning flow direction with valve markings and pre-testing for strength and tightness on main pipelines.
